I have a mass on my right ovary which is 10cm. The radiologist also came back with a "possible malignancy" but when I had the appointment with the gynoc, he said he doesn't think it is. He said that most radiologists will put this in the report when they're not sure. You need to speak to a doctor who knows what he/she is looking at.
In fact, no doctor can be 100% sure without a biopsy. Just breathe (as others have told me). The majority of these things are benign.
Hi There,
I completely agree with gls.
You have a cyst that has not gone away and has grown a small bit in one year. By your description, no other abnormal changes were seen. This most likely represents a benign tumor that has slowly grown.
I would agree that it should be surgically removed. The final diagnosis will only be known after surgery.
Please let us know how things go for you.
