Adding to what Jane said, not only can the techs not discuss their findings, but even the Radiologist who reads the results wouldn't be able to tell if it was cancer or not. He/She could tell your doctor if a mass was present, and if it is solid or cystic, but OvCa cannot be diagnosed 100% without surgical biopsy. Keep in mind even if she did find something, it is more likely to benign than not. Benign masses act the same as anything malignant...both would be structures that aren't supposed to be there in a normal condition. I know it's hard not to worry about these things. But, try to reassure yourself that even if something was there, it's not automatically something sinister. Wishing you peace as you deal with this. Please let us know what you find out.

Hi Lee,
The techs are not doctors and they're not allowed to discuss the results with the patient. That goes for the tech who does the scans as well.
Don't be frightened, you really can't read accurately into her mood or expressions. Maybe she was thinking of something else.
Call your doctor Monday and hopefully you can get the results. I can empathize with you because I've been dealing with OVCA for 2 1/2 years and it's constant anxiety.
Good luck, and let us know what the doctor says.
Jane
