Just wanted a second opinion/ possibly more information on a cystedenoma found in my abdomen this week. I am waiting to see a gynecological oncologist and its eating me alive in the interim. I am curious as to what the estimated size/shape/weight could be based on the measurements given to me by the doc that reported on my MRI. Looking for clarification of the directional terms.
Here's an excerpt from the MRI: "Large T2 hyperintense mass identified occupying much of the central pelvis possibly originating from the right adnexa. Lesion measures 15.6 cm transverse by 13 cm AP, extending up to 20 cm craniocaudal extending into the abdomen. Thin internal septations are present without abnormal enhancement, nodular elements, or thick peripheral capsule. No significant free fluid, adneopathy, or enteric inflammatory finding."
Some of these terms I am not familiar with. I am curious as to how far into my abdomen it goes, and what the estimated size and weight could be. Thank you for your time and consideration!!
