Cyst question

So I started getting alot of pain yesterday like I normally do when I have a cyst and I feel like its going to rupture soon. Just dull achy pain feeling like fullness and some pain during intercourse the day before and some light pink blood afterwards. Anyways I called my doctors office and left a messege with the nurse and she had me get a sono yesterday. Well the sonographer wouldnt tell me anything which was really annoying, she said that she will give the results to the doctor and the doctor will call me back. During the sono I couldnt really see the screen that well but I could kinda see and my question do they normally pull up close spots and track the blood flow where you can hear it on the speakers? Because I have had several sonos before where they were they found cysts and they never did that before. So it kind of freaked me out a little. And my doctor still hasnt call yet today so I am getting very anxious. Well especially because I just had a ovarian cyst rupture 2 weeks ago and this seems a little sudden to have another one. Also I have been having alot of pain in my pelvic area and in my low back and my hips and my thieghs and I didnt know if that was normal with a cyst?

If you keep having these problems I would suggest getting a diagnostic lap. It's no fun, but the peace of mind is worth it.

If you had a cyst rupture, you can have pain for a few hours or a week or so.  It may just be that your pain is form the ruptured cyst.  Please let us know what the new OBGYN has to say.  Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!!

I heard back from the doctors office but they didnt find anything they said there was some free fluid like a cyst might of ruptured but they cant tell for sure. I am just kind of annoyed because I hurt alot in my pelvis and back and they dont know whats wrong with me. But I just called and made an appt with a different OBGYN. So hopefully I find some solutions.

I can't answer your first part of your question, because I am not sure why the measure the blood flow.  I have had that done with almost all of my sonograms.  I think they want to  make sure that the blood is flowing like it should through your ovaries (this is just a guess on my part).. The questions I can answer are YES it is very normal to have bad pelvic pain , lower back pain and hip and thigh pain with a cyst.  It is also common to have discomfort when you use the bathroom.  You must be a more patient person than I am. I would be calling the doctor to see what the results are.  Please let us know when you do get the results.  Good Luck!!
