Cyst with sections

Does anyone know about cysts that have inner walls with sections and what that means? My cyst is about 2.5 x 1.5 and multi-sectional. It doesn't seem to fit any of the basic descriptions. Thanks.

Does anyone know what it means when you have eggs in your cyst?

Oh, I forgot the units--those were inches, not cm. I don't have the standard terminology down yet. Thanks. Suzy

Hi Suzy,
I believe that this type of  cyst is called complex ,these cysts have walled compartments and contain both solid and fluid matter . I had 2 10cm complex cysts that were related to endometriosis . I think at the moment your cysts are quite small , they are usually watched for a while to see if hey resolve themselves , when they reach 5cm or over they are usually surgically removed because they can twist or rupture . Has your gyn said that they will watch them for a couple of menstrual cycles?. I hope this has helped .
Best wishes Angie

Thanks, I won't know until tomorrow when I go back to the doctor. Even then, the bloodtests are inconclusive as I have heard. Nothing scheduled yet. But the advice here is very helpful!

Hi!  I think multisectional with inner walls means that it's (forgive the analogy) like a pizza.

One whole pizza with lot's o'different slices.

Now I'm no doctor, as you can tell from my description, but I think that's about right!

Please let us know how you are doing?
