thank you for your comment. i can't remember the side from which the cyst was removed. i'll surely discuss the possibility of endometriosis with my gynae.
You had an ovarian cyst removed on which side in 2007? Surgery often can lead to adhesions that can cause pain. The fact you have severe pain on the left during menstruation in my opinon points to probably endometriosis as the culprit. But later in your post, you say you have a cyst on the right and intense pain on the right? In any even, I would seriously consider endometriosis as a possibility. They typically don't know you have endometriosis for sure unless they discover it in surgery, though certain things, such as endometriosis in the bladder and endometrioma might be picked up by MRI.
Also, they should monitor the cyst on the right and be sure it goes away. If it hangs around, it just might be an endometrioma or "chocolate cyst" as it sometimes called and they might be able to diagnose it by MRI. This kind of cyst is caused by endometriosis and does not go away on it's own. It needs to be surgically taken care of because it wind up destroying the ovary. I had one of these in my left ovary.
Re: trying to get pregnant- I believe endometriosis, if you have it, can make it more difficult. Also, if you have been having difficulty in getting pregnant, have you had hormonal testing, such as LH, FSH, prolactin, thyroid function, and cortisol?
