concerns

I am a 40 year old woman and had open surgery to remove a dermoid cyst and left ovary on 21st may 2009 released from hospital on 23rd may 2009 with minimal pain and feeling pretty good.
Had apt with doctor 26th may 2009 and he was impressed with how well I was healing.
On sunday 31st may 2009 starting having back pain and dull abdominal pain like I was getting a period....no period though.
Today being 1st june 2009 still have dull pain in lower abdomen but getting little sharp pains every now and then.
I am concerned about this as I have felt so good since surgery and now I feel like ****.
Is this normal....a sign I might be doing too much ....or should I see my doctor.
Should mention had dissolvable stitches and incision is inthe exact same spot as my cesarean i had 18 years ago
Please help

This is normal. From outside it looks good, internal healing takes much longer. It took me 7 weeks. Don't do any strenuous exercise, take lot of rest.
