cyst in ovary

hello im 37 years old, on september i had an mri due to pain in my hips and lower back which came fine other that calcification in pelvic and left hip, but also they found a 3.7 cyst on my right ovary it doesnt say anything else, like if is complex or type of cyst, i moved and records took all this time to get to new dr so im so scare bc of this and bc 5 months have been pass since this mri, i did have cyst in the past and also fibroid when i was much younger. really will like to know the risk and what to expect form this, my appointment is on Tuesday, im so scare pls help me with some answers.thank you so much.

thank you so much for answering, i did went to dr and they did an ultrasound, the cyst is gone, but now i have one on my left side ,dr recommend to just leave it there bc is so small and just monitor it in couple of months.....ty again and best of wishes to you too....

Try not to worry.  Most cysts do not grow large and do go away on their own.  You are doing the right thing by getting checked now.  Even with my cancer dx, I don't have scans except every year.  You are probably just fine.  You are doing the right thing by being checked now.  Please let us know how it goes!
