not sure if I have PTSD

I worked on a trauma team in a hospital for several years. I was on call for the ER as a phlebotomist before I became a microbiologist.  This was 20 years ago. I find that I still have flash backs of the accidents and other traumas I saw while the doctors were working on the patients and when I was waiting to draw blood or had to run to the lab with the  patients blood or to get a bag of blood for the patient. I also some times talk about what I saw and I get very stressed out still. Is this part of having PTSD? Would it help my migraines or other stress problems if I got counseling for it?
thanks for any input,
mkh9

I'm sorry you went through a lot. I can't imagine what you went through. Thanks for your reply. It does seem like a lot even though I don't think people understand since it was part of my job. I do have a therapist but never talked about this. Maybe it would help to lower my stress so I would get migraines.
thanks,

Hello.  I'm a trauma survivor from a German orphanage in the 1960s. If you find a good trauma therapist,  it can help you tremendously. I wish you well.  You've experienced severe trauma. Take care.
