Hi,
Tramadol will not show up as oxycodone. Tramadol is a non narcotic drug. Usually when you have a typical drug screen done for pain management it will show up as tramadol. It depends on which test as far as the extent such as the level in your system.
Is the a test for employment or for pain management your asking about. They are very different test. One test for illegal substances and other drugs such a prescription and the other test for the prescription drugs and the levels in your system as well as illegal substances.
I hope this helps if you have any further questions please feel free to ask:)
For a typical drug test (i.e. one they would use for employment or one they would use at a pain management clinic to test for illegal/improperly taken substances)...no, is the answer. there are tests that can show tramadol use, but because it's a synthetic opiate it does not show up on your typical drug test. if you have a prescription it doesn't matter either way...even if they ran one of the tests that showed a positive for tramadol (these tests are rare and usually only preformed in order to assess someone's use of tramadol specifically, not when looking for general medications in your system or other illegal substances) all you would have to do is show your prescription and you would be cleared. but it has nothing to do with oxycodone and will not cause a false positive.
Hi. Well last year I was tested and the test was done in front of me. I was on Tramadol at the time and I passed the test. I asked what exactly they were testing for and they said "Opiates" "Speed" & Pot.
Tramadol is a man made Opiate and when I was test it didn't show up as an Opiate.
Good luck to ya and when you take the test just tell them you take them and your doctor gives them to you, like I did.
