Hi,
Is the pain radiating across the lower back and you feel it in your hips a little? Also, does it hurt when you are standing or just sitting and lying down?
Thank you!
Yes I still have my gallbladder and my mom had similar pains with hers. I put a heating pad on it to try to ease the pain but nothing really helps. I can't sit straight up or bend down. I've lost my appetite, I have not seen a PCP .
Hi Cmm,
Welcome to MedHelp's Pain Management Forum. I am so sorry to hear about your undiagnosed pain but glad that you found us.
Obviously the pain is signalling you that something is not right in your body. You should consult your PCP. He/she will have better answers for you.
Your pain may be referred pain, meaning it is originating in one location but felt in another. Do you still have a gallbladder? Often pain from the gallbladder or one if it's ducts can feel like back pain. However there are so many other possibilities.
What makes it worse and what makes it better? Have you had any medical tests? Have you consulted your physician? If you have seen your PCP then at the very least your symptoms require better management until they are able to get to the root of your pain. There are meds that will ease your nausea as well as help control your symptoms.
Can you provide us with more information? It would help in our suggestions. I wish you the best and hope to hear from you again.
Take Care,
~Tuck
