Hi Channah,
I'm sorry to hear about your detox issues. It's no fun when we have to reduce the opiate therapy that has been beneficial is managing our Chronic Pain.
You know that you are always welcome here - and we'll do our best to help. That said I think the Substance Abuse Community will offer you more suggestions in your current situation. They have more experience in detox than our members. They are a kind, informational and supportive forum. I suggest you post your questions there too. Here's the link:

Depression plagues many of us with the major form being Situational Depression. That's a self explanatory titled. :o) We're depressed due to our situation. Dah! Who wouldn't be?
When my depression first begins to rear it's ugly head I try to do things that I enjoy - before it disables me. I love photography and walks on the Beach - so I try my best to be more active in those areas. Sitting is the worse thing I can do. If my pain is too high to be physically active - I at least get on the Beach, in the sunshine. Watching children playing and laughing can warm my heart. It's effective 99% of the time. What makes you feel better? What grabs your attention? I hope you'll find something that is effective for you.
Let's hope our members have additional suggestions. Please let us know how you are doing. Sometimes just "talking" or venting can help - we're here to listen.
Take Care,
~Tuck
