Here is the links and also try calling the company who makes the brand youur friend uses as they all usually have programs to help.
Have you checked into hospice care?
Okay I am sending it too you now with some other information as well:)
I m so very sorry for your friend. I lost someone very close a couple months ago to cancer. It is very hard to watch.
Sandee I definitely need your help to find that page. My friend is in endstage bone cancer and cannot afford her fentanyl.
You can also look on the back of the box that your patches come in, get the name of the company and sometimes they also have a website listed on the boxes. If there's no website listed, simply google the name and you should be able to find a website for them. Then go onto their site and search for a patient assistance program. If there is none listed, try to find a contact phone number or email address for them and give them a call. Many, many drug companies do now offer patient assistance programs.
I know when I was on the patch, mine was Duragesic brand (there was NO others available at that time) - and they had an assistant program that was awesome - I ended up having absolutely NO out of pocket costs for my patches.
Good luck!
If you look in my journal pages you will see a list of agencies and drug companies that offer assistance. if you need help finding the page please let me know:)
