Constipation, scared of pushing

i am on severdole, and it has made me really badly constipated sometimes it makes me want to push so bad [like pushing out a baby i guess] but when i do, it hurts like hell, and i get scared and refuse to push again i dont want to hurt my self anymore i have hemorrhoids again cos of this and i got my period due to being stressed.

The good thing is my doctor is on email call so i can contact and ask for help

i am having laxsol

but i am scared, i have been letting out air today, and yesterday when i did push hard, i let out water and blood.. not nice, but my reason in asking is

when i need to push when it finally is safe to push, will it still hurt will it be like a normal poop?

i refuse to push, it hurts so much, i just want normal poop [sorry if it sounds funny] but i have been like this for 3 days, i just cant push it hurts too bad. and its not good for me to push.

will it calm down? so it wont be constipated???

I would talk with your pharmacist or doctor  about which type of laxative would be best for you. Ttixy71 is absolutely correct telling you to drink a lot of fluids (non caffeine, and no diuretics), it really can help "move things along". Take care,

Hi there, you really need to go to the bathroom or you could end up with an impaction. I would go to the store and get stool softeners and drink lots of liquids. That may help to soften it up some. Also a store bought enema may help as well. It probably will hurt, but try not to let that scare you, the pain will only be temporary, it will go away. Good luck to you!
