Got Off The Oxy But Can't Take The Pain

I'm scheduled for appointment at t=a pain clinic in an hour. I have been completely off Oxys for about a week and never did have really bad withdrawals. But the PAIN in my knee and back is devastating. I can hardly take care of myself it hurts so bad. Simple thinks like showers or getting down stairs are very hard. I don't know what is going to happen at this appointment but I do NOT want to live in this kind of pain.

Guy's i'm screwed. What I'm having isn't rebound pain, they just more fluid of my knee. And I have been given a script nor only for percs but stronger ones. These are 10 mg. But I've ben told to take only three a day instead of the 10 or 12 I was taking. I hurt to so bad I want to take the whole damn bottle. I have used tramadol, did nothing for the pain, I still have 20 or so left. Ill ask about this Mobic next week. They want to see me once a week. I've never gone to a pain clinic before. I had to pee in a cup BEFORE the appt! But I tell you I cannot continue to live with pain like I've been having,.

I feel for you. Tramhater is right there are other things to help with pain, like Mobic. You may have rebound pain also, which is caused when you wd your body increases pain so take more pills.

Ask for something besides a narcotic.  (and NO to tramadol!)  There are other things that they can try!  You don't want to get back on that junk, do you?
