Hello K1990,
Welcome to our Pain Management Forum. I am sorry that you have this large hemangioma tumor. I do not know a lot about them. I did see a documentary on a child that had one on her eyelid.
Seecatmeow seems like a good source for you. In my understanding and according to what I have read only 15% of these tumors occur in the arms or legs. Most appear on the thoracic area. I have read that most hemangiomas do not require any treatment. They go away on their own and most disappear completely if they are located on your skin. Have you been told that yours will eventually resolve on it's own?
Good luck to you. I hope your physicians are able to develop a good treatment plan for your hemangioma. Take Care, Tuck
In 2008 I was diagnosed with several hemangiomas(hemangiomatosis) in the thoracic region too many to list. I can tell you that I am getting small doses of chemo (vincristin) and it's shrinking them. I am also doing an oil-protein diet by Dr. Budwig (Cancer diet). Hope this helps you. Regards,
