Hi Cullen,
Sorry that I am not a physician. There are no physicians or experts here. Mollyrae may be correct that your post was moved or you may have posted in the wrong forum by error.
Bicep pain can be from a muscle strain or possibly a tear or it could be caused by bicep tendonitis. Muscle strain can be caused by lifting or just by an unusual move. It usually occurs when the bicep is under too much pressure.
Bicep pain from tendonitis is usually caused by repetitive use. It can be just be an aggravating soreness or so serve that you cannot lift or move your arm. There are treatments available for both conditions and you PCP can offer the best solutions. Sometimes what seems to be a simple injury or condition can become chronic or not treating it may lead to a more serious condition. In my opinion if the pain has not subside in several days you should seek a clinical evaluation.
Have you tried R.I.C.E.? Rest, ice, compression and elevation? If not this my help until you are able to see your PCP. Good luck to you. I hope you will keep us posted on your progress.
Take Care,
Tuck
