What could be wrong with me?

I've had tons of blood work, no MRI's and I will have a bone scan on the 6th. My blood work was good, but I do have B12 deficiency and receive B12 shots.

My symptoms are~
headaches (temporal)
Neck stiffness and pain
leg muscle weakness
leg pain
tender spots on my legs that are literaly a spot here and there
hip pain
low back pain
Knee pain
my back needs to be cracked periodically throughout the day
my neck needs to be cracked periodiaclly as well
shoulder pains
skin feels tender to touch
I have some anxiety, irritability
I take celxa for depression and anxiety
fatigued easily and often
get sudden flashes of feeling like I have the flu (body aches) almost everyday

I'm 28 yrs old, 5ft 2 1/2 in, 131lbs, have had three children, married

I just don't know why i feel like this almost everyday! It's fustrating and painful. I feel like the Dr.'s don't really understand. I look healthy and I'm young. What could it be?

You never know just what you may get with fibromialga. While one person may have one symptom others may not.

I haven't seen much about needing peoples back cracked often and neck as well. My ankles also need to be cracked and wrists. Is that also a symptom of Fibro? I am very curious about that!

Hi Maky,

I am sorry you are having all this pain. According to your Profile Page you have Fibromyalgia. I think your symptoms fit that diagnosis (DX). If you beleive that DX is incorrect than I encourage you to obtain second or even third opinions.

Are you being followed by a PMP or do you have good pain managment? Many of us have chronic pain (cp) and experience daily painful symptoms. We can relate. Most of us are managed by PMP or by our PCP manges our pain. We will never be pain free but we are grateful for the amount of relif we obtain. I hope that you have at least that, especially because you are so young.

I understand your frustration. My CP began when I was young and had a fast paced professional career. My CP was often dismissed by physicians because I basically looked healthy and maintained a career.  was good at "hiding" my pain for the most part. It wasn't until many years later that I discovered a female physician that saw past the facade I presented. She admitted that it was because of the way I "looked" and the level I pushed myself to function at that I wasn't taken seriously by other physicians. So you may present in a similar fashion and that may also be why you are not taken as seriously as you should be.

At the very least you deserve proper pain managment. Please let us know how you are doing. I hope you will become active in our community. Best of luck.

Take Care,
~Tuck
