Is there a place we can get to other members in person

I suffer from chronic pain, and I was wondering if I could meet any of you in person at some sort of convention.  We could inspire one another, and be brave together.  I would love to have any of you as my close personal friends.  I am moving from my boyfriend's house in LA, and am totally open to go anywhere I could to receive proper care, and be around people like me.  It has to be somewhere warm, though.  I am from MN and the winters effect on pain will drive you to google Dr Kavorkian - to see if he still is in business.

Ive seen your post's and i feel for your situation.

I've said it before "wouldnt it be great if there was a med that killed all pain and wasnt addictive" and people didnt think you were a junkie for needing it....and was free LOL.

I am now on Subutex...its the only med that i wont abuse (use to much) that really works. I know it has its down side too but i'll take the gamble cause anything is better then what i was doing.

Hi, just read your post. I, too, suffer from chronic pain. Too many ailments to mention, but believe me, I can relate. I don't think it would be possible for me to meet with you in person, but this forum has allowed me to meet kind, compassionate, knowledgable people who are always willing to offer comfort, advice and cyber hugs. Count me in if you want. I'm 46, have problems with L3,4,5 and ovarian cysts. I know a little about pain. Drop me a line anytime you need. Lots of luck and hope you have a great evening. Gretchen
