Left side pain for years (also asked in Gastro but thinking could be nerve??)

Have had left side abdominal pain (i guess upper rather than lower) on and off for the past 6 years or so. I originally went to gastro and they did ultrasound and found nothing. Then another gastro who did no diagnostics (other than physical exam) suggested muscle. But now it is 6 years later and I'm still dealing with a muscle? Seems weird. About the pain. It is not super painful. Like a 2-4 level out of 10. It's just often present. When lying flat and not moving I rarely feel it. But when moving certain ways, lifting my legs up, etc. I feel it most. It also hurts when pressing into it with a finger or two. After intense pressing the pain will be higher for awhile. No other symptoms, i.e. no weight loss, no change in bowel movements, no fever, no nausea etc. Any thoughts?
