Right eye head pain

A few weeks ago I was hit in the head with a fairway golf ball shot.  I suffered a mild concussion.  Today I am experiencing a sharp intense pain just above my right eye close to my nose.   The pain is very intense at the spot, but I feel fine other than the pain in that area...Shouldl I be worried???

I am in complete agreement with the other members that you need medical attention ASAP.  Get yourself to your doctor now.

I would check with a dr asap. I was having alot of pain in my eye once and I had a blockage in it. Your head and your eyes are nothing to mess with so you need to get it checked out.
Good luck,
Jamie

Hi Sagthur,

First welcome to the Pain Management Forum. We're glad that you found us here.

Don't ever mess around with a head injury. Have you been checked out at the Hospital? Have the done a scan at all? You need to check with your Dr. immediately if you haven't already. If you have, then he needs to be informed about the new circumstances that your injury is producing now.

Please don't hestitate, you just never know. We are all here for you but please do check with you Dr. Let us know what you find out, we are always here for you....Sherry

I would be following up with your PCP/Family physician.  I would be concerned.  Was the scan of your head that you got at the hospital ok?
