Hello Namans24,

Welcome to the pain management forum. I'm glad you found us and took the time to post.

Have you consulted the physician that ordered the test (MRI I assume)? He/She will offer the best recommendations for your condition.

In summary you have a "pinched nerve" coming off the L5. This is due to the impingement (encroachment or pressure upon) of that nerve by the slight bulging of the disc between the L4-L5 vertebra.

If you are interested in some helpful exercise your best source will be a physical therapist or your physician. Your entire condition needs to be taken into consideration when recommending specific exercises. However walking in proper shoes is usually safe and good for overall health. Again, check with your physician. He/she can offer site specific exercises.

I'm sorry I am not more helpful. Please let us know what you discover.

Best of Luck to You,
~Tuck
