Mild Chest Pain

by GG2213, Feb 17, 2009 07:40PM
The last couple of days I have noticed a mild chest pain that comes and goes and is located in my upper chest about three inches below the middle of my left collar bone. I have just been a little worried that it might be some sort of a heart problem.  I take adderal so maybe that has something to do with it.  I am only 21 years old and hope I am not starting to have heart problems already.  What do you think it could be?

Thanks,
Grant

Hi GG2213, it's me again.

Regarding the other post and the  abdominal pain when you run and now with  the chest pain, I wouldn't be suprised if you didn't have some Gastrointestinal issues. I would recommend seeing a GI Doctor. Until you make an appt. I would start using some Nexium or a good antacid.
Take care,

What you are describing sounds alot like what my sons had.  At one point he thought he was having a heart attack and couldn't move.  Once he was able to move I took him to the emergency room.  We found out he has acid reflux.  He was around 19 yrs of age when this first happened.  Please check with your doctor.
