I love your poem Sandee.  I too lost my Mom in 1994 to Breast Cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Your poem reminds me of my Mom. Thank you for posting it!! I think of her daily.

I lost my Mom to parkinson's and I miss her sooo much.
I would like to dedicate this to her....




If I could give you anything the would could bestow
      It wouldn't be all wrapped and tied with a bow
      It would be so simple yet more than money could buy
      No one could afford it, No matter how hard they tried
      It would be that you could get back
      Just a little of the love you've given away.
      You'd be the richest girl in the world
