Need professional answer/help

What medications out there can I take, for life, if need be, for pain?

If I came to you, and said, I don't want to take hydrocodone anymore, even though it helps with the pain, what would you suggest? Loratab is out, I do NOT want something that if by accident I can't get it, I will go through hell.

I'll make a comment before I refer you to our physicians forum. Hydrocodone IS Lortab or Norco or Vicodin. It has a lot of different brand names. Lortab is actually a mix of acetaminophen and hydrocodone. .... so you are taking Lortab...just the generic form of it.
