Pain in my bones feels like tooth pain?

I've been having this pain for a couple of years now but can't figure to find out what exactly hurts!

My bones or nerves?

it feels exactly like tooth pain, it's everywhere shoulders, lower back, arms, hands, hips, joints...

at first it started to attack my joints but a couple of years later it started almost everywhere

I noticed that its either the left side of my body or the right side, rarely happens to both at the same time.

Also happens in cold weather more frequently, as I use heat plasters or hot water bags.

So is it the bones or the nerve system?

BTW
I'm 23 F, and I remember noticing the pain at the age of 7 but didn't give it much attention as it wasn't as frequent as it is now.

Thanks

I have this same ache, a toothache in every joint of my body, sometimes charlie horses go with it.  I broke my neck thirty some years ago, it is all titanium now, from c2 to t2.  I have a pain implant and it use to block almost all pain. Now the implant loses charge and when it does omg this toothache of the body really hurts.   Did you ever find out what was causing it ? I would really like to know.

Very interesting.  I have described this very thing to my doctor.  I have a strange unusual deep achy pain (feels like a toothache) in my bones, or the middle of limbs, and joints.  It can be so bad that it wakes me from sleep.  Nothing seems to make it better, with the exception of a hot bath at times.  Nothing makes the pain worse.  My doctor has tested me for rheumatoid arthritis, my thyroid.  These tests were negative.  Other than high blood pressure of recent onset, and high cholesterol, I have not major medical history.  I would really like to find out what this pain is caused by.

Hello,

I never paid attention to it even though the pain wakes me up at night, I just use hot pads.
I went to a neurologist regarding the numbness I started getting, maybe you saw my post.
The dr was more focused on the numbness as it appeared I have white spots on my brain.  Nothing has changed regarding the numbness except the medication they gave me did reduce the electricity, which is good.

Hello and Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum. I am glad that you found us at MedHelp. I am sorry to hear about your undiagnosed painful symptoms.

When I read your first post I thought you were experiencing bone pain and than you added the second post that said "electrocuted" which then sounds like nerve pain. It's possible to have both.

Have you been evaluated by a rheumatologist? If not that is where I would begin. If the rheumatologist has no answers for you than he/she may refer you to a neurologist. If you've seen both I would seek a second opinion.

I note your pain is tolerable. You have learned to live with it. My concern is there may come a time that you may not be able to "live with it." So I encourage you to seek a diagnosis before you get to that point.

I cannot guess with any accuracy what condition may be causing your symptoms. Our bodies are unique machines. Some times one condition can trigger another and it can be difficult to determine which came first. Generalized body pain can be an early indication of a fibromyalgia type of illness.

We will look forward to hearing from you again soon. Please don't be discouraged when looking for a diagnosis. Just keep searching until you find answers.

Best of Luck to You,
~Tuck

No, I got used to the pain. I try not to use drugs as much as I can.

The pain also feels that you got electrocuted

Oh my God, I thought I was the only one who described the thigh pain the way you did. Like a deep "tooth ache", however, my leg pains (thighs only), are always accompained by night sweats.

Doctors can't figure it out, so I basically take about 6 advil at a time when I get those attacks.
