hep c and cirrhosis

CT scan with Iodine and contrast shows nodular liver,umbilical vein has re-canalized into soft tissue anterior and heart shows atherosclerosis, this is not  good is it??

thanks got hold of someone that told me what i needed to hear. Still workin on gettn help for my pain and its gruelsome......I get so mad at these Doctors and yet drug addicts can get pain meds and dont need them. This infuriates me! You have a blessed day!

Hi Molly and welcome to the pain management community!

I have not a clue what the results of your CT scan mean.  There may be someone to come along that knows more than I do, but I would encourage you to post this also in the Hepatitis C Community on MedHelp.  Run your curser over "Forums" at the top of the page and click on "Health Forums".  Look through the list and find the link that directs you the Hepatits C Community.  There may be a Doctor Forum that may be of help to you as well (located under the "Forums").  Lastly, try a google search on some of the terms...you may be pleasantly surprised at the information that comes up on the search.
