Curious about this. I brought my rx info to a drug test and did not get the job because of the results. What was most interesting was the lab conducting the test refused to accept the info. The tech said because of hippa laws they can not accept this medical info by proxy, even if it is to establish you are allowed to have this amount in your blood stream. You would never be told this, BUT:
It is also an issue of debate if the lab personnel feel your levels might be too high to perform the job in question...perhaps, because they are afraid it might make you sloppy and ultimately, a liability. I think the best person to verify your ability to perform said job while on what is probably a dose your body has since adjusted to...the doctor..is never called.
Anyway, I wish you the best. My drs told me these pain meds stay in your system at least 4 days..longer for some, shorter for others. The type of test they are running is not going to detect anything longer unless they want to spend some serious money on a real tox sreen. And, fortumately, for you, this will probably not be the case unless you are working for someone offering you 6 figures or more.
And bring the prescription bottles with you to the testing facility so they can document that the meds are legitimally prescribed.
as long as you have rx's for the meds you are okay - i obtained my job while i was taking hydrocodone. they will contact you regarding the meds and ask for the pharmacy phone number to verify. once this is done you should have no problems.
