Can't seem to get a break from the pain....

Even when I'm sleeping I'm dreaming about the neck pain and the migraines several nights of the week.  Does anyone else do this?

I use to be a huge sleep walker and I also can carry conversations in my sleep.  If there is something going on physically, I will carry it into my dreams also.  I always have and it's not fair.  For example, I once had a water bed that was filled half way.  I had a dream that my body was full of blisters.  I woke up to have 4 huge blisters on my theigh from sleeping so close to the heater in the bed.  I dream of my migraines also.  When I wake up from these dreams, I'm in extreme pain.  Blah!  I just wonder if this happens to anyone else.

I am no physcoligist nor a dream expert but I think maybe the pain has gotten so much for you to bear that you have subconciensly made yourself afraid and tired of facing it each day. I hope you can see a pain physcoligist I am confident they can help you. Do you take anything for sleeping? This could also play a role in your dreams.
I hope only sweet dreams find you this evening.
Please look over my spelling my spell check is not working again.

Sorry I am late with my response. I don't know how I missed this. I have never had dreams about my pain. I don't know about other members.

I would venture to guess that something that is worrisome would or could show up in your dreams. Have you seen a Pain Therapist? I have been told that they can be very helpful. They may help you work through this. Our pain is disrupting enough, it shouldn't have to be part of our dreams.

Let us know how you are doing and if you find relief from these dreams. Take care, Tuck

As seeing if it was something that you went through that had an impact on you yes it is normal to have dreams of such things. It should go away over time. But if you still have pain I would suggest seeing your physician. But as far as trying to clear your head of everything try meditation, it may help. Others may have better suggestions. Good luck and I hope you sleep well.
