Urine test gone wrong

I have been taking Opana ER for 2 months and Lorezapam for over 10 yrs. My doctors office did 2 urine tests on me to make sure i was actually taking my medication. Well the tests came back negative for either what can cause this?

I have a study done by the VA in my journal which found that a whopping 44% of patients taking opiates were found to have tested negative. this study was done a few years ago so the results now would most likely be shocking.
I hope your doctor has not dismissed you. it can be difficult to find a doctor that will treat you after this happens.
You can have a hair follicle test done. The results will show the past 60-90 days what you have taken.
You can order a test offline and have the results sent to your Doctor or have it done in your town.
I hope it works out well for you:)

Here is where you can find the study I was referring to.

Hello Mslynnes,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am glad that you found us but so sorry to hear about your failed drug test.

TrayCee is correct. It is thought that human error is responsible for the majority of failed urine drug screens. Some of the statistics are staggering. You are not alone. I know that this does not make you feel better but it is true,

Has your PMP dismissed you? If so I urge you to begin your search immediately for a replacement. If you have had "clean" test up till this time you should have no problem locating a PMP that will take you. However it may be time consuming.

I wish you the very best. Please feel free to add additional questions or comments. Again I am so sorry that this has happened to you. I hope that you will keep in touch and let us know how this turns out for you.

Peace,
Tuck
