I have RSD and I was denied SSI SSD a few times I just kept on reapplying and fighting them for it. I got it after a few trys. I know that you loose the will to fight them, But you will win in the end. I think they make everyone fight just to see if they are willing to do so. I would keep trying. Dont give up. I know that its hard but stay strong and things will work out. Also I dont know how social services works in FL but here in Ny they will help you fight SSI SSD. They should be able to help you. Being that you have a long term illness they cant deny you medical, atleast I know in NY state they cant.
Again Hang in there. Things will get better for you. And this group is the best plase for help with questions, Everyone here helpped me out a great deal. And im sure they will do the same for you.

I treid to get disability a few years ago too and and thats exactly what I felt like.
I cant believe they say you dont qualify with endo. Its known to be debilitating and very painful in alot of cases. My Endo pain is awful. Especially two weeks before my cycle, and worse when my cycle comes. Theres 3 weeks out of every month right there that keep a person from functuning properly.
Have you spoken to your DR about it? They might be able to help you prove that it really does deserve benefits. Especially if you can get into Pain Mangement somehow. That should help prove that your case is severe enough to warrent strong medications.
I dont know much about how painful hep c is but from what I understand the pain can be pretty severe.

I wish there were some easy answers. I think the Social Services Office may be your best bet. Please let us know what your able to find out.
As the day goes on other members may also have some more ideas for you.

You have to make a Doc. understand that Hep C is a very painful virus. Do you have a Hepatologist?

I've tried to get SSI or disability and they say I don't qualify. I have endometrosis and hep c. I have really tried to get the help, but like I said, here in Fl. , you have to be dying before you get help.

Hi Shirl

  Mollyrea has some great ideas.
You can also start the process of getting benefits or dissability.
have you tried or looked intoeither os those process' yet?
If you think that getting state benefits or dissability may be something you would like to do you can also ask your counties Social Services office about that.
There are many advocates who's job is to help people win benefits and disability cases. Many lawyers wont charge someone unless they win there case.

Hi Shirl, Welcome to the forum. There are free clinics in most cities. I would suggest that you call your local Social Service and inquire about any free clinic or clinic that uses a sliding fee scale, depending on your income you could qualify for little or no money per visit. Good luck   Mollyrae
