Why no withdrawal?

Hi, I have been taking 40mg of oxicodone daily (20mg 2x a day) for a year. My health has improved so I decided it was time to wean off of the meds. Five days ago I only took 20mg with no problem. The next day I only to 10 mg, again no problem. The past three day I have taken 5mg once a day with absolutely no withdrawal symptoms. I have read so much about how horrible it is to withdrawal and am confused! Do you think that if I now take zero pills I will start having problems?

You may be one of the lucky ones to not have to deal with it.  I think it's unlikely you'll get them when you stop completely.  If you do get some, they would likely be mild.

Believe me, be happy you are ok. It was good to wean as you are though.

That all because they were on high dosages 40Mlg a day is even enough to worry about , you will not have any issues
