abdominal pain and small mass

Two days ago I thought I had a bruise on my lower abdomen but after looking closer there was no bruise but what I found is a smallish hard mass in my lower left abdomen...almost centered in the abdomen.  Its not visible to the eye but when I push where I thought the bruise was I can feel the mass (its about an inch wide 1/2 inch high).  It's quite painful to push on it...even light pressure from jeans causes discomfort.  It doesn't hurt when I'm sitting or laying still but moving around causes some discomfort and today a small amount of bruising is visible now.  I'm having no issues going to the bathroom, nothing out of the norm with that business.

Hopefully it's just a lipoma or something, but have it checked.

I just finished reading your comments. It's always good to be on the safe
side. You might consider making an appointment with your family doctor
and tell your doctor you think you found a small hard mass in your lower
left abdomen. I wish you well. I think it's important you find out what's
