Sandee is absolutely correct. Usually the technician will check the clarity of the pic's before you leave radiology. On occasion the radiologist viewing and interpreting the films or the physician will request more clarity of an area....thus a repeat MRI.
The film could be faulty or any number of other possibilities. Please keep in touch and if you are comfortable in doing so share with us the outcome.

Do not be alarmed this is not unusual. The first one may have been distorted and not have a clear picture. If you move or adjust yourself even a small amount it will make the picture unclear. Or perhaps the tech made a mistake.
