gosh I wish I had an answer. I have it in my back. I do apply pressure next to the pain and it does help.
I am sorry you are hurting. We all know that pain is no fun. Do you take medication to control your pain? If not I recommend that you consult your PCP or find a good Pain Management Clinic is you are experiencing chronic pain.
I do not know a lot about your Syndrome other than when nerves are effected it can be painful. It would make sense to me that your new pain could be related to the Guillain-Barre-Syndrome. I hate to say the obvious but I would report this new symptom to your physician.
Take care and please keep in touch. Tuck
GB and Fibro are practically the same in symptoms. One doctor that I had showed me in a big medical book she had that when she went to the index, found Fibromyalgia, and then went to the correct page it had Guillain-Barre at the top of the page. Yes, I have had burning pain in my legs. In fact, I occasionally have it in my upper thigh and into my buttocks. It feels like someone has placed a hot coal deep inside each cheek. It would wake me up in the middle of the night. Horrible! Please talk with your doctor about this new symptom. I hope you have a doctor who understands Fibro/CFS.
