somethings wrong with my back

Hi everyone, its been a while since i have been on this forum, but i have been in A LOT of pain. I am requsted to go see a pain managment doctor for all of the pain i have been having, so i can't wait to go see that doctor. But a few wks ago i went and seen my othopedic doctor and he said it was either my hip or back but i have been having the worse lower back pain, and hip pain ever. It also gets worse and worse everytime i sit. My hip cracks and everytime i go to physical therapy its always out of line, so they always make it go back into place, but everytime i go back its always out of line more and more. Then yesterday i went to PT and i couldnt do any exersices, actually havnt been able to for about 5 weeks now because the pain just keeps getting worse and worse. She also said my back was swollen and so was my hip, and my doctor is making me wait until next month to get an MRI, CT scan and X Rays :( im really sick of waiting, my hip has been in pain for about 5 years, and this past year my back pain has been developing. So im not sure whats causing it but i would like for my doctors to figure it out, so i can have atleast sometime of relief in my body. My back is probably the most important thing to be looked at right now, because its the thing that hurts the most.

thanks for responding, i cant go on pain meds, so im hoping they can figure something else out when it comes to that. I hope they figure out whats wrong.

Hi Katie,

I sure hope the doctors can find the source of your pain soon as it sounds very painful!  I am glad that you are being sent to PM soon so hopefully they can stabilize you with medications while you are waiting for a diagnosis.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers and please continue to post (if you can) how you are doing.  Keep in touch and take it easy.
