Hello Ellro,

Welcome to Medelp's Pain Management Forum. I am sorry to hear about your pain and injury.

It's been four weeks.... time to consult your PCP about your symptoms. The wrist is a complicated joint that we place a lot of demands upon. There are a number of injuries that could have occurred when you moved the microwave. The joint is surrounded by ligaments, tendons and other supportive structures. It's difficult to determine if your injury was to the actual wrist structure of the support structures.

I assume you treated the initial injury with RICE, REST, ICE, COMPRESSION and ELEVATION. Once you are past that initial injury time frame and the pain continues it should be evaluated by a Medical Provider.

I wish you the best of luck and hope you'll let us know what you discover. I'll look forward to your updates.

Take Care,
~Tuck
