I agree you need to go see your dr and see what could be causing this. They can test you for a UTI and if you have one it can be treated so you will get better hopefully.
Best of luck to you

First we want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know how VERY happy we are that you found this Forum. You need to understand that NO ONE here is a Dr.  We are all CP (Chronic Pain) Patients that share our different expertise and experiences on  our pain with the other Pain Patients.

I'm so sorry that you have encountered this problem and are having this pain. Like you I've had a lot of problems (for the last 6 months) with the urinating and the pink colored Urine. I have been battling BOTH a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and a Bladder Infection. Just can't seem to shake it. Coincidently I'm going to a Urologist tomorrow to get help with mine. I would hate for yours to get that far IF that is what is happening with you.

I would highly suggest that you make an appointment with your PCP and get tested for a UTI. If it gets out of control it can infect your entire body. Please don't put it off.

Please go and get yourself checked and get it taken care of if it is a UTI or Bladder Infection.

Please keep us updated on what happens as we are concerned about you....Sherry

I agree with the advice above - while the discolored urine COULD be spot bleeding related to the birth control pill, I doubt very much that PAINFUL urination would be.

I'm not sure about the hair breakage - again I suppose it could be related to the birth control pills (hormones), but you may want to also mention that to your doctor - I don't think it's related to the urinary symptoms, but there could also be something else going on.

Keep us posted on how you're doing and what you find out from the doctor.

It sounds like it could be very much like a bladder infection.  You will need to go to the doctor and get on antibiotics.  I would make an appointment right away tomorrow morning.

It sounds like you may have a uti, or a combination of a Bacterial vaginosis and a uti. You may not show some symptoms of having BV except a discharge that is unusual. I have had multiple uti's because of my bladder condition. You need to make an appointment with your doctor to find out what's going on and I wouldn't worry about skipping your period, sometimes when you have infections, that will happen, especially if you are on birth control. Try not to worry, and call your doctor when you can.
