we have mentioned the pain area in the diagram which is in the epigastric area according to the doctors, they say it is a muscle pain.the injection given in the pain area was tricort +sensorcaine then i was completely relieved from pain for 2days then the pain came back again and when i touch the pain area i can feel the pain.i am totally confused whether it is a muscle pain or nerve pain how to find out this problem please help me to what test should i under go please see the photo

Sorry to repeat my post but I am still wondering if you have Costochondritis. It is a common form of inflammation of the cartilage where ribs attach to the breastbone, the sternum.

There is another condition called Tietze syndrome. It is an inflammation of the costochondral cartilages of the upper front of the chest. These conditions are similar but different. Your physician should be able to provide you with better answers.
