I have a conversion chart I posted a while back, I will find it and re post it for you.
MsContin is alot stronger than Tramadol. Tramadol is a mild pain medication and MsContin is for severe chronic pain. Please be careful if you are switching... the MsContin will probably make you sleepy at first.
hard to compare because MS Contin is a long acting-time released drug and Tramadol is short acting (4-6 hours). I think you'd have to compare Lortab (also short acting) to it.
Check with a pharmacist, but I think Tramadol pain relief is = to the pain relief of a similar dose of codeine.

This is a pretty big increase, how much of the tramadol were you taking daily?
MS Contin is a much stronger medication so if you were switched from the Tramadol to the MS Contin be careful until you know how your body will react.
