My dear,

I'm so happy that I was able to be of help to you when you have so much on your plate!! I was glad to see that you have been to the Doctor and everything checked out OK for you.  When I saw that you have been exercising I can see that it's a very real possibility that you may have pulled a muscle in that region and that would indeed make you very sore!! :( I'm so glad that your Doctor gave you some meds to help you with the muscle soreness.  Hopefully, it will give you the relief that you need and deserve.  That can be very painful when you have pain under the ribcage like you are experiencing.

It's good that your Doctor will be sending you to a OBGYN.  I'm sure that you will make a wonderful Mother to your Sweet Baby.

Yes, you read it correctly about the gallbladder being on the left side and not the right side. You need not worry about it being the gallbladder especially since you have already been to the Doctor. :)

Of course you are welcome to keep your updates on our Forum. :)  I gave you the link to the Pregnancy Forum as I think you would enjoy the Ladies there, also.  You are more than welcome to join more than one Forum.  I'm a member of several of them as are most of our members.

Thank you for updating and I will be looking forward to hearing from you again after you see your Doctor on Friday.

Wishing you the very best...........Sherry  :)

Sherry, thank you so much for all of your advice, it meand SO much. yes i am going through a lot. Yeah, right when I am done with him i find myself 6 weeks pregnant and i still havnt told him yet but im sure after i do tell him a lot of stress off my shoulders for sure. And about the pain under my right ribs under breast, im not sure either but i did go to my family doctor last friday to one tell him that i was pregnant and 2 i was having that pain, They checked me out and they didnt say anything big but the one question they asked that i said yes to was that i have been exercising a lot. So they thought it was that so they described me some muscle releaf medicine. Hopefully it is nothing to worry about. Thanks for the advice that harmful thing that you mentioned is on the left?
Well im going back to to my doctor this friday and im suppose to tell him whether or not if i am going to keep the baby or not and i decided im keeping it so he will desribe me to the gyno and thereforth.. I would love to keep the updates on here!....Take care Sherry!

Hi athomas04,

First, I want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know that we are glad you found this Forum. I want to let you know that there are no Doctors on this Forum, only CP  {Chronic Pain}  Patients that help each other with our own expertise and experiences that we have developed through our own CP Issues.

Bless your heart, you are going through so much right now and having to start to deal with this pain just doesn't seem fair at all.  Since this is your first pregnancy (I'm assuming that it's your first pregnancy from reading your other posts) you will find that you will be having many different pains as you go through the next 7 1/2 months.  One of the most common pains is from GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease) which in lay-terms is basically a severe case of heart-burn or indigestion. It is very uncomfortable and chances are this is what you are experiencing especially since you are so stressed right now.  The stress that you are experiencing right now is going to effect your pain and act to make it even worse.  Try to relax all that you can.

However, I'm thinking that it's a very real possibility that you are experiencing the aftermath of being "picked up" last Wednesday.  I have a feeling that it was painful for you since you remember the day, Wednesday, that it happened.  You could have had your ribs and surrounding tissues bruised which could definitely caused this pain so happen.

I'm rather doubtful that this is caused by your gallbladder as normally that pain will be on the left-side under the rig cage.  However, there's always a chance that your gallbladder could be on the wrong side.  That has happened before.

No matter what the cause, since you are only 6 weeks pregnant, you need to contact your Doctor and be checked out to be sure that nothing is happening that needs to be addressed by your Doctor.  You need to clue your Doctor in and he/she might be able to make some suggestions to you in how to deal with the stress and make it easier for you to get through this period.  :)

I hope that you will keep us updated as to what you find out as I'm very concerned about you. I'm a Mother of 2 and a Grandmother of 2 and I tend to worry about all of the people here on MH especially the younger ones.

I wish you the very best and will be looking for your updates on here.

Just know you are in my Thoughts and Prayers.............Sherry  :)
