Lasting low abdominal pain without history of GI disease could be related to your female organs. Perhaps a trip to your gynecologist is in order?

Hi Ruffalo,
A tardy welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am glad that you found us and took the time to post.
You don't provide a lot of details or information. When did this pain start? Did you injure yourself or did it come on for no apparent reason? Is there a burning quality to the pain? Is it all the time or does it come and go....and what makes it worse or better?
I am guessing but your pain could be related to a spinal structure issue, like a bulging disc or a nerve impingement. It could also be a kidney problem or a stone. It could be an SI Joint issues. There are just so many possibilities. I encourage you to make an appointment with your PCP to investigate the origin of your pain.
In the meantime alternating heat and ice may help. Resting the area. You can also talk to your pharmacist for his/her suggestion of an OTC, NSAID. It may help reduce the pain and inflammation.
I hope you will let us know how you are doing. We are here to offer our support. Best and luck to you and please keep us updated.
Take Care,
~Tuck
