Hi Katie,

It's so good to hear from you again. Thank you for the update..... but I am sorry that your surgery was so painful... and now you hip is hurting also. If it helps that should be temporary and subside when your gait is more normal and your knee heals.

As Sherry said we are concerned and saddened that you have had so very many medical issues to contend with at such a young age. Life doesn't always deal us a great hand... but you are bravely doing a wonderful job of playing your cards. I'm not so sure that everyone would have your courage and handle the pain and stress that certainly must come from all your pain and limitations so well.

Please let us know how you are doing. I will be very interested to hear about your progress. I hope you 'll soon be feeling much better.

Peace and Healing,
~Tuck

Hi katie,

I'm so glad that you posted after your surgery!!  I was just about to send you a PM (Private Message) and see if you had your surgery.

It really saddens me that you are having to go through all of this pain and all of these surgeries (I believe that this makes # 5 for you) since you were 14 years old.  Wow: 5 surgeries in only 3 years!!!  Honey, that's a lot for a person of any age!!

I was very concerned about your hip as we talked about before.  I hope that they will do some extensive tests on your hip now, such as not only x-rays, but also MRI's!  I'm concerned because you are so young and already having all of these problems, I Pray that they can "fix" you knees as well as your hips so that you can leave a relatively pain free life from here on out!!

I'll be looking for all of your updates on here and again I'm so happy that you let us know how it went.  I've been very worried about you. Please let us know when your next Doctor's appointment is so we can look for your updates.

I hope that you will be a contributing member on this Forum as your knowledge would be very welcome. :)

I know that I don't have to tell you to be sure and follow the Doctor's orders, as you have had more than your share of practicing doing that the past few years. :(

Keep us posted, Katie..........Sherry  :)
