advice on post op pinky surgery

Hi, I'm wanting to get some advice from professionals or someone who has been in the same situation. I broke the proximal joint on my pinky finger about 3 years ago. 2 weeks later i went to the doctor to find out that they had to rebreak it and put 8 screws and a plate in it. My finger is very stiff and im starting to feel pain throughout my hand and arm now. I attached photos below. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, what was the solution & outcome?

Hi thank you for your response, and yes that was a typing error. The surgery was done 3 years ago but i started having stiffness and pain about a 1 year after the surgery. If the screws are causing the pain, are the removable?  Thank you again for your advice.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. If the pain and stiffness has started three years after the surgery then it is less likely to be due to the operation. The pain could be due to the screws. The other possibility is a pinched nerve in the wrist/elbow or shoulder level or even at the spine level.
However, if there was a typing error and you had the surgery just 2 weeks ago, then please consult your surgeon. The pain can be due to nerve irritation, nerve compression, tendon injury, infection or bleed. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
