Hi mohitbodiyan,

I am glad you found us at MedHelp. This community of Pain Management will offer you support, information and suggestions. It has been my life line I hope you will also find it as helpful and supportive.

Your post sounds so familiar. Struggling through jobs and inability to work effectively is a problem that many CP suffers face. I am very sorry you are hurting and struggling. It is so important that you are there for your baby (as you know) and it is very difficult to do so when you are having so much pain and struggling.

Have you talked to your PCP? I would begin there and discuss with him/her your pain issues and how it effects your work. If he/she is not able or willing to address your issues than please find another PCP asap or get into a good Pain Management Clinic.

It is 2008 and there is no good reason you should be struggling with these pain issues. Please don't feel alone with your negative thoughts. We are here for you. You can also see a Pain Psychologist, usually at the Pain Clinic who will help you deal with your pain. Your pain can be managed if there is nothing they can do to "fix" things at this time. And there is help with medical care available in all states, esp if you have dependant children.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. If I have not been specific enough in responding to your post please let me know. Take care, Tuck

Hello and welcome to MH. First I'd like to tell you that there are no Doctors in the Pain Forum. You can find professonal help on the right side of the forum page.

How long has it been since you've had an MRI, CT Scan or x-ray? You might want to update your diagnosis. Old injurys like yours can cause all kinds of problems. Have you had previous surgery for the injury? Maybe you could tell me more about the treatment you've had.

Take care, Mollyrae
