Headaches for last two months(pain)

My headaches started Feb. 22,2012 I have at least 5 a day. thay start in my left eye,there is burning on the side of my nose,it travels to my left temple then goes to the base of my skull on the left side only. they last for 15 mins. to 1 hr.They only go away I think. when I take Tylenol, Ibprofen,Hydrocco or percocet. For only  a short time. I am not sure if I am just masking them. But I can not stand the pain any more. I havs seen my family doctor he thouht it was a sinius infection, used predisone two forms meds for infection. Xrays,CT Scan shows nothing. Neurology doctor can't find any thing.I have 4 treatments from a Chiropractor so far no help.I am seeing a ENT so far no help.I have tried Dapakote It only made things worse.( made me angery) I have studied Cluster headaches not the same symptoms. PLEASE does anyone have any other Ideas? I need HELP!! I am not sure how much longer I can stand this pain.

I hope they can figure it out and also give you something for the headaches that helps better. Let me know how it goes.

Yes I will.
Thanks again. It will be a while unfortunely I can't get in until June 4th, I hope I can make it. When it doesn't hurt I know I will. But when they are going on,O'boy what pain.

Yes, very funny (regarding it is in your head, literally!).  I hope this neurologist helps. It does sound like a cluster migraine. Let me know how it goes ok?

Thank you for responding. I just went to a ENT He is sending me to another  neurologist. He said the one I had before was a Quack He has one that his own mother goes to. I am in hope this doctor will help. He did give me Imitex to take. I have tried it twice not it does not seem to stop the headaches yet. Mine last for 15 to 30 mins. so it is had to get meds. to work that fast. But there a lot of them. He sugested maybe cluster headaches was not sure, said my ct scan looked good,he also put a scope in my nose up to my sinius's could not see anything. I am starting to feel like they think it's all in my head, Ha that's a good one.

Hi and sorry you are having so much pain. It does sound a lot like migriane. They are all different for different people, but usually migraines are on one side and often involving the same eye. You may or may not get a aura. Imitrex works some for me and there are some new meds for migraine. I know depakote works for some but not others. I would go to a neurologist that specializes in migrianes (as a second opinion). I had an electroencephalogram (EEG) done and that is how they diagnosed me for my migraine variant. It later evolved into a migraine with aura. Anyway, was the CT scan of the brain that they did?  The parasites that the other post mentioned are very rare (pork tapeworm) to not found in the US (Loa loa). Also, try to think if you have any trigger. For me the triggers are stress, red wine, and MSG. I am now on a anti allergy medicine that actually lessens the number of migraines and visual migraines. It is too soon to tell. But you need to get diagnosed first. Probably you have one that lasts several days and you take meds but it doesn't knock out the problem and you keep getting back.My neighbor has them everyday and finally got on IV magnesium. So, there are options. Alternatively, perhaps you have done something to your spine in the neck area that is being pinched. In which case you may try an orthopedic surgeon and get an MRI of the cervical spine or whatever they suggest.  I wouldn't go to a chiro I don't trust them (my opinion).

go see a neurologist get mri and other tests done my neurologist found a gland calcifying and dying giving the worst migraines that i would pass out from also had dead spots but didn't think those were doing anything and get a better neurologist and demand mri scans possible spin tap and other infection and worm parasite the full panel but you have to demand that many and full panel and worm parasite tests pork and other foods have worms and crap known to migrate to the brain also see optimoligist might be eysite plus some parasites are able to be seen in the eyes
