thank u..., somehow i'm coping up with my depression...but the pain as you said is part of my life now...when writing, sitting in front of computer, doing some household chores...
attack my pain, specially on my back & feel heaviness in my shoulder radiating to my right arm...though i take my meds..i'm thinking to go on MRI earlier to know the extend of affected nerve...but when i consulted my rheumatology last week, she advised me to go on MRI after Jan.27, 2010 if the pain is stil there & no improvement ... what can you say about that...
thank you and god bless...
It's easy to be depressed when you have pain. We have been there as have many of us chronic pain sufferers. Accepting that this may be your life and finding ways to deal with the challenges it presents may help you cope better.
It sounds like your physicians are taking the usual and customary route. You deserve to be as comfortable as possible. Request medications and treatments that help in your comfort.
We are here to listen and offer suggestions. Please keep in touch.
thank u for the comment...i have my physiatrist and rheumatology doctors...they discussed some possibilities to be happened if ever new medicine doesn't work ... MRI will be do and the last will be surgery, but these will be do if medicine & therapy doesn't work at all...if pain is still there...
sometimes i feel depress about it...and sometimes thought that will it be have development to feel better or will be worse on it....
thank u...god bless....
Hi Pain,
It sounds to me as if you have cervical spondylosis and myofascial pain syndrome. They can and often do go together.
Obviously the most correct answer will come from your physician and I encourage you to discuss this with him/her. An MRI may provide you with even more detailed information.
Take Care,
Tuck
