Can a man get syphilis by receiving oral sex from a woman who is infected?

I have only been with only my wife for 18 years, however I did receive oral sex from a stranger about 4 months ago. I have had pain in my inguinal canal area on both sides, pain in my testicles, and a burning feeling in the end of my penis. My wife now has a rash that looks exactly like the rashes you see online for syphilis. Small raised red dots, all over her body, about 20 larger brighter red spots about the size of a pencil eraser, scaly oozing sores on her had And hair lose. Her rash does not itch. Is it possible I got syphilis from receiving oral sex from that woman?

It was not syphilis. My problems are from enlarged prostate or a growth on my prostate. My wife has psoriasis.

I hope that you and your wife have been to the doctor. Also, did you try to contact the woman that you were with 4 months ago to see if she has been to a doctor?
