Teenager doesn't want to come home

Hello everyone, this is my first time going into this site and really hope God put it in front of me to get the answer I need.  My 16 yr daughter has been out since yesterday afterschool, she was going to stay over a friends house and when I confronted her that I wanted to talk to her friends mom, everythihng started.  She's been lying and lying, but the point is that she does not want to come home and I have no idea where she's at. She doesn't answer my telephone calls but has texted me that she's ok and she will come home when she's ready.  I feel with no power no matter what I tell he, she doesnt tell where she's at. I went to the Miami Beach police and they told me that I cannot report her missing because she's been in contact with me, therefore she has not been kidnapped, abducted or any of that stuff.  So in other words is all up to the paretns.  please help me I feel my daughter is in control and I cannot do anything until she comes home.  But I am very worry.  thanks for reading

Completely agree, my 14 year old son soon to be 15 was a straight A honor role student. He was also an athlete, promising future in basketball. He got scouted out to a AAU basketball team and to make a long story short they made it to nationals in South Carolina last year (Silver medal). After the season was over he started acting out, running away. I gave up his guardianship to his former basketball coach and his wife. He was there for 5 months, he wasn't running away but  he was getting suspended on a weekly basis. They kicked him out of the house after the last suspension. He has been home for 4 months now and was doing good on an off. He was actually good for a month and then there he goes again, he ran away 2 weeks ago for no reason. I'm fed up with the situation, I've tried everything and nothing has worked. Children and youth, giving up guardianship, local authorities, family strengthening programs, counseling, guidance counseling at school, sports, lots of love, taking away privileges and tough love. Nothing has work, he  breaks things in the house and is always threatening me with running away. He comes home when my husband and i are working, he eats, takes a shower, sleeps and leaves before i come home. I'm so fed up I completely prohibited my daughter to open the door for him. It hurts me a lot to do this but how is he going to learn if he has the  best of both worlds. It kills me not to know where he is and the type of people he is surrounded by, but is not fare for my other kids. I feel so powerless and frustrated. I came to the conclusion that the only person that can do anything is God. Even when is really difficult some times I know my loving Jesus is in control. All I can do for him right now is pray. I have mixed emotions. I'm very sad, but really angry at the same time. Your post made me feel less guilty. Thanks and God bless you and your family.

It seems that's you've left out much details as to WHY she might be feeling this way towards you. Perhaps she's realized you have an imaginary bearded friend in the sky and you need help?

Just try living with my son for 2 minutes, you will see that your daughter is a normal teenager and you are too demanding.  She is safe with her grandparents so what's your problem.  If you was living on the streets then you'd have something to worry about.

Hello,
There is a very fast way to get your Son or your family back within 3 to 5 days. The fastest and effective solution known so far is ***@****.
I'm KL Lee from Korea. I... want to share with you how a man I met online saved my son's life. Thanks to Mr. King for sending me this e-mail address ***@****. Whom I then consulted. I don't know about you, but this spellman cast a spell for me that brought my son back home. And my business restored. The only information this man will ask of you is
*Your full name.....
*Your son's full name......
*What You want your relationship to be. He or she must obey and follow you....,
*The picture of you and your family.....
