Thank you, she started to drink and doing alot more wet nappies. She haven't got any diahrrea for the last 3 days. Took her back yesterday for the blood results. they done
U&E's, FBC, CRP, Tharoid, food tollerance. All that came back high was her
serum alkaline phosphatase level - 1370 , red blood levels 15.8 , monocyte count 1.60.
She is alot better in herself we got an appointment to see the pead in May, will see waht they think.
My older child ( M) had a blood test done in 2009 - to see if she's got food intollrence because she is constipated. The same things that came up high in my baby (R)came up high in M. How can that be????
But my older child 3 and a half got cronic constipation - on movicol and LP229v everyday - is helping her.
Sorry, just one thing. Water is not the best choice for dehydration. It has no electrolites on it. But Margy is so right..dehydration can be very serious in little ones. Take her in right away. If the inside of her mouth feels tacky instead of wet, take her to emergency. It sounds like she has one of the nasty virus' going around. My 14 month old has been through a few of them back to back and was essentially ill from Dec. to March. They can last. Have her seen. Good luck.
Sounds like she is dehydrated and this can go down hill rapidly in small children , start her on fluids ASAP water, pedialiyte ,Revital, is her urine darker, smell stongly, dry mouth and lips, no tears. My opinion is that you get her checked out, babies go down hill fast . good luck
